Hey everyone,

I’m working on designing a server architecture and could really use some expert insights. Here's the situation:

I have three key components:

  • Main Server: This will take in inputs from our internal LAN.
  • Backup Server: To ensure we have redundancy and don’t go down in case something happens to the main one.
  • Proxy Server: This is for routing traffic through Cloudflare to secure our public-facing IPs and improve overall security.
What I’m Trying to Figure Out:
  1. Cloudflare Integration: I’m only planning to use Cloudflare for DNS proxying. Does anyone know if that affects upload limits or brings in any other restrictions I should be aware of?
  2. VM Setup: How many VMs do you think I need here to balance performance and redundancy without over-complicating things? Right now, I’m thinking 3 VMs—one for each, but I’m open to ideas if there's a better way to structure this.
  3. Backup & Proxy Roles: What’s the best approach to configure the Backup and Proxy servers? Should I rethink these roles or stick with my current plan to ensure smooth failover and load balancing?
  4. Panel Suggestions: Which IPTV Panel Should i check XUI1 ?

Am I missing something here? Is there a more efficient or reliable way to set this up? Any alternative architecture you would suggest to get better performance, security, or reliability?

Use cloudflare only to cloud proxy dns for your main server, do not put any stream there nor your LBs...

VM simple, forget... I don't knlw what you want to achieve with VMs but forget about it... Go dedicated or don't bother going anywhere...

Proxy Server if you are already using CloudFlare i donkt see thebpoint except money waste and adding unnecessary hops to the structure...

Main Server with remote backup of the DB... What you wqnt to do with backup main server? Waste money?

Clients > CloudFlare > Main Srv > LB...

Auto push > yes i do ***
