I’m hoping someone might have an idea about what’s going on. We’re running XtreamUI version 22b, and although it’s an older version, we’ve done some work on it, and it has been running smoothly for about four years now. All types of boxes and apps have been functioning perfectly until recently.
However, we’ve been experiencing increasing issues with Infomir MAG boxes—all models from the 254 to the 544. The boxes randomly freeze, and the TV screen locks up. Only a reboot fixes the issue, but this can happen up to 10 times a day, making it a real hassle. Factory resets and software updates (both up and down) haven’t resolved the issue.
Interestingly, around 90% of the MAG boxes work just fine on our system, but about 10% of them have this freezing issue. When we replace the affected MAG boxes with other brands, like Formuler, Qviart, or Firestick, they work without a problem.
This problem has only started occurring since summer 2024. I’m wondering if upgrading XtreamUI to the latest version (22f) would make any difference? Has anyone else experienced this issue or found a fix? Any help would be much appreciated!
