Question move vod from server to other one ?

he mates hope you are doing okay.
i know there is a method to move vod from server to an other in case of disk fail.
moving file is normal using scp.

i want the commands needed in databse to change source from server to the other one "streams and streams_sys tables".

Why not just use same locations and then install the new VOD in the same ID as the old one?

yeah you should do that but in databse in order to automate the process you only need to replacee a pattern in stream source to move sources from current server to the new one and you do need also to do that in stream_sys table to avoid transcode again but it is dangerous to try .

there are two ways to move vod from server to another.
first without keeping the old server in xtream panel by installing the new vod in its place.
second with keeping old one and install the new one as another lb then move vod in databse from the old one to the new one.
by replacing in streams table source column in datatbase like following:

["s:0ld_server_id:\/movie-path"] to ["s:new_server_id:\/movie-path"]

and also in stream_sys table in server_id column we put the the newserver_id


does the second work like that or there is extra change and if one has mysql syntaxe ready share it because i did not try?
