What is the best server configuration for transcoding streams.

I would like to create SD streams and I would like to know which server should I purchase to maintain about 20 or more live transcode streams.

GPUs is not possible at moment.

I would like suggestions on dedicated server configurations.

Hi,
why do you thinking GPUs are not possible at the moment?
Is there any limitation? I am doing some tests, I didn't like the performance but I think the cause of my setup.
I will try again.
Did you try before transcoding with GPU and what are the challenges did you face?
